How does it work?
Rapid Medical Action
High priority information is displayed on the band, while further details can be accessed by scanning the QR code.
Privacy Built In
The secure QR code is locked by default and only works when you or a venue unlocks it.
Your band is laser engraved with your personal secure QR code, name, ICE (emergency contact) number and primary medical condition or “No Medical Condition”. When unlocked, the QR code allows venue staff, paramedics and others to access more detailed personal information:
Personal details (name, DOB etc);
Medical conditions (one primary and unlimited secondary conditions);
Allergies;
Medications;
Medical history;
Additional information/notes;
Primary ICE contact (name, relationship, contact number).
The app is intuitive and easy to use. The bronze level of the app is free, with options to upgrade to the silver or gold subscription levels†, which offer free updated bands and additional functionality (see page 20). You can upgrade your subscription level at any time.
